How do you grade your magazines?
Rather than relying soley on a subjective GOOD, VERY GOOD, etc rating system, we prefer to describe any magazine defects in our listing. If you have any questions, please email us and we will respond within 1 day. Here are our general grading guidelines: New A nearly perfect copy overall that generally looks and reads as if it were just pulled off the newsstand. Pages clean and bright. Like New An excellent copy overall, pages clean and bright, which may have some of the following: - Small corner bend or very light creases on cover - creases - Very light cover rubbing Very Good A very good copy overall, complete, no missing pages, which may have some of the following minor imperfections: - Minor spine bending - Light page discoloration - Light rubbing or soiling on cover - Minor page or cover edge nicks/tears - Minor page folds - Minor spine wear - Minor pen/pencil marks Good A good copy overall, complete, no missing pages, which may have some of the following: - Spine bending - Loose pages - Cover tears - Rubbing or soiling on cover - Light to moderate page discoloration - Loose cover - Cover scratches - Bumped corners - Folded pages - Water rings - Slight water damage - Spine wear - Pen/pencil marks Acceptable A copy that's seen a lot of use. May have page or cover folds, tears, some heavy wear and rubbing, but is still readable and complete. No tape or other restoration.
